Continuing with my current obsession with mules, I recently got my hands on these lovelies. The POWDER PUFF flat slides are new to the AQUAZZURA line, and come in a variety of heel heights, and colors. On their own, the POWDER PUFF slides are fairly dressy. So the challenge would be to decide if you want to build your outfit to match their dressier vibe, or if you want to add SASS to a casual look. The open back of the mule keeps the look summery but the covered toes allow a seamless transition into the fall season. Despite them being pointy, I didn’t have any issues with discomfort. I wore them for the first time this weekend, and was walking around quite a bit. They do start to rub against the pinky toe a bit with excessive walking, but I didn’t notice this until the end of the night. Overall, I would rate them pretty high on the comfort scale.
