When in London in 2014, I fell in love with the department store Harrods. Reminded me of the Macy’s in Manhattan growing up as a child. The lights, the decorations, the layout, and the VIBE of the store were magnetic. THIS department store is what a SHOPPERS dreams are made of. While in London, I purchased another pair of Isabel Marant Boots called the Dicker boot. I had been eyeing them for months but could not locate in the US. After that purchase I was sold on Isabel Marant’s amazing boot quality. About a year later, I was trolling the Harrods UK site, and came across these Roxann boots. I view them as a sleeker high heeled version of a cowgirl boot.
How I (Vee)Rock It
I loved these boots SO much that I bought them in both black AND tan. The almost triangular heel gives the comfort of a wedge, but with a sleeker look. The pointed toe is stylish but doesn’t make your toes suffer the consequences. I purchased these during the summer months, but could not help myself so I broke them out as soon as the temps hit 70. I styled them with this adorable J.Crew above the knee striped dress.
Once fall began these boots became part of the regular rotation in my wardrobe each week. I am a sucker for a comfy pair of destructed jeans. Adding these to my staple destructed denim of choice make my “I care but I don’t” look complete!
Ready to Shop?!
I decided to buy mine from the Harrods UK site after discovering a pretty AMAZING deal. Not only were the shoes priced about 20% cheaper AFTER the currency conversion, but I also did not have to pay sales tax (which in the UK is about 17%). The net net of that is paying $200 less for these boots than had I ordered from an online site in the US.
*Unfortunately they are no longer on the Harrods site, but fret not, they can be found at these sites.
