Isabel Marant Dicker Boot
These boots popped up in my pinterest feed a few years ago, and I fell in love. Unfortunately, at that time, I could not find them online or in stores in the US. I tried to find a close replacement, but was disappointed with the choices at the time. It wasn’t until I went to London 2 years ago that I found them at Harrods. I HAD to have them. I like that they have sort of an INDIE CHIC look to them, and that they allow a casual outfit to still look clean. They are fairly comfy, and the suede breaks in beautifully with wear.
I really like this color in particular. They are a charcoal grey that appears to be almost black. I also like that the heel is a different color which sets them apart from my all black booties. They have a 2″ block heel, which basically makes them flats in my world.
How I (Vee) Rock It
I have seen these styled several different ways, but I won’t tell you that I wear them with everything. These provide a very distinct look, so I tend to wear them on my dress down days. In the warmer months, I like to throw them on with skirts or dresses as an alternative to wearing flip flops. The Dicker boots are great if you want to slightly dress up a SUPER casual look such as baggy denim shorts and a T-shirt. My go-to most of the time is with a skinny or straight leg jean, slightly rolled up.
Ready to Shop?!
These have become increasingly popular and can now be found on several different stores and online in the US.
